An exciting new acquisition has been announced with global events promoter Live Nation welcoming Western Australia’s largest locally based touring company Mellen Events to its family. The global entertainment powerhouse Live Nation acquired Mellen Events in order to grow its strategic presence in the West, envisioning further growth across Australasia. The partnership is committed to bringing greater access to events and the biggest international and domestic acts delivered to the region.
This new partnership will allow for an operating office in Perth for Live Nation and will help connect with other operations across Australia and Asia, including Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand.
With offices spanning numerous countries all over the world, Live Nation produce more concerts and sell more tickets than anyone else in the world. They bring an impressive 40,000 shows and 100+ festivals to life and sell 500 million tickets per year, all with the help of their 44,000 employees worldwide.

Mellen Events was created in 1996 and has been committed to delivering only the best concerts and events in Western Australia. The team has worked with some impressive names including Lorde, James Blunt and Kylie Minogue as well as delivering some major events, including the award-winning Ord Valley Muster and the annual youth festival Future Music Festival.
