To coincide with the band’s third album, ‘Real Rare Whale’ launching in June, beloved Aussie band Dune Rats have joined forces with Aussie brand Volley to release an epic new collection.
In light of the devastating floods in the Dunies’ hometown of Brisbane and beyond, Volley and Dune Rats will be donating $10 for every shoe sold from their collaboration to the Red Cross Flood Appeal.
Marketed as festival swag, the collaboration includes two original shoes designs, socks, a backpack and a hat, all doused in the iconic Dunies quirk.
Dune Rats singer Danny Beus said of the collab, “When we then met the legends at Volley, we were stoked there was an instant vibe and solid idea to create something together. We’re super psyched to make insanely quirky Dunies shoes and there’s gonna be even more bright and bold kicks coming!”.
The debut range will be available exclusively online at www.volley.com.au and in General Pants and City Beach stores around Australia from this Friday 4 March.
Dune Rats will be appearing at This That festival in Queensland this weekend and Newcastle next weekend, as well as gigs in Canberra, Darwin, Coogee and Merimbula over the coming weeks.
